Of the "metrovania" genre, I purchased this cheap on sale but honestly, if I knew how good it was beforehand I would have paid the normal price, this game is a rare one in that I -enjoy- visiting old areas to explore more... normally too impatient for that in a lot of cases, this is the first time one in this genre has made me wish to do this since super metroid. It's not AS good of course,.But you can feel the immence amount of effort put into this, the polish is brilliant.4/5. Its an okay game. I enjoy playing it.. Amazing Side-scrolling-action-RPG!I never thought could exist a game like this.Great art and music!. If you like side-scrolling adventure games with Metroidvania elements then you will like this game. The combat is a bit clunky at times, but if you actually take the time to backtrack and find all the hidden goodies then you'll be so overpowered by the end it won't really matter. My biggest criticism of the game would be that the later levels are a real slog - I often found myself rushing through the areas rather than fighting the suddenly super-durable enemies. There also isn't really any replayability, but it's not like this an expensive game and sometimes it's nice to finish a one-and-done kind of game.. If you like this type of game it's ok. I tried it and found it somewhat enjoyable. I didn't keep it because it wasn't the type of game I would consitantly play. I would recommend looking at it though if you're starting out or want a game to just relax and take a break away from your day. This game would be good for that and still give you a challenge.
